Soffit Insulation
There is an increasing requirement for the thermal upgrading of semi-exposed concrete decks both in the conversion and refurbishment of existing buildings and in new build constructions.
Soffit Insulation is usually carried out between an internal and external part of a building. Soffit Insulation is predominantly carried out on:

FML utilises the availability of most manufacturer's products and will select the most appropriate Soffit Insulating product for each particular project. An example of one of these manufacturers is Promat.
Promat TL Board is an example of a rigid board fire protection system used by FML, comprised of calcium silicate board bonded to phenolic insulation, which has been designed to address the issue of thermal upgrading. The Soffit Insulating board can be fitted to the underside of a floor or to a supporting framework where the surface is uneven or otherwise unsuitable.
These Soffit Insulation systems can offer both thermal and acoustic insulation along with fire protection. They also provide excellent design aesthetics and are easy to install and maintain.
